Kettlebell WHAT? ..... ELL

Yeah, I know, I had the same reaction when I heard the words "kettlebell workout".  "It's a whaaa?"  Then when I started looking into it further I thought it was just another new fad exercise with outrageous claims like the rest of them out there, (no need to mention, we know which ones they are) but much to my surprise it's actually been around ALOT longer than most exercise we do currently.  Not only that, it a powerhouse when it comes to maximizing calorie burning.  It is officially my new workout since I am limited in the time that I have to spend on working out.  Who wants to run on a treadmill, then use weights, then stretch, then blah blah blah???  Maybe you do, maybe you don't, all I know is I want to maximize my time spent working out and this is the best way I have found yet.

Work Out vs. Sex - DEE

Alright alright already, I will write, lol. Can't say that I have anything earth shattering to report, but I'm going report something.

So far this working out and dieting is going pretty good. I must say that after I work out I feel great, but damn, my legs are killing me the next day!! Ericka and I are both doing good. Let's just say that neither of us have had to face the consequences, thank goodness right, no one wants to see any of that, not even us, lol.

The one question that I have is, Should SEX, count as a work out?? LMAO I mean don't you burn just as many calories during sex as you do while you are working out??!! I'm thinking that you do, unless your boring and just lay there, LMAO. Geezz I'm crakcing myself up today!!!

I think that I need to invest in a new scale, everytime that I get on it, it gives a different number, as much as I love the numbers it gives me, I really don't like having to get onto my Wii Fit Plus everytime I want the actual number. (My weight shouldn't be going up 2 lbs or down 2 lbs with in seconds)

I love love love these yummy yogurt parfait's called Delights by Yoplait, and believe me they are DELISH, Cherry Cheesecake and Chocolate Raspberry mmmm mmmm good!!

Bloggers ....... lets get bloggin!

Well since the "keep track by week and try to post on a schedule" didn't work for me I'm going to try my usual completely random, blog when I wanna self.  I find that forced writing doesn't work for me,  clearly  LOL

As Deena said, we have re-motivated and re-energized ourselves and threw in some consequences for not staying on track.  They may seem trivial to you but for us, it's basically like death, yes, I said death.  You have to find whatever works for you.  My best successes in the weigh-loss world have been when I finally just did my own thing.  You have to adapt and be prepared for ups and downs but you also have to COMMIT.  Oh yeah, that scary little word.  On those days when you just want that piece of chocolate cake b/c you had a horrible day and you just KNOW it's gonna make you feel better, you suck it up and stay committed.  In the end that cake is just going to make you feel defeated.  Was it worth it?  NOPE!

So in the past few weeks of my non-bloggery I have still been fueling my body with oh-so-healthy foods and while I haven't lost an ounce, I also haven't gained one.  I found a healthy balance and along the way found some surprising little treats that I will be blogging about in the near future.  Now that I have found the right eating balance, it's time to find the right workout....... Stay blogged in to see the progress!

Writer's Strike Over

Well, now that our writer's strike is over maybe we can get back to business. I will no longer be counting the weeks, lol, for now on it will just be Weeklys.

Anywho, lets just say that I hit a lazy patch. On the bright side I haven't gained any weight, just have been wrapped up in life and got distracted. Ericka and I are now back on track.

New rules: No Fried Food. No Dessert for at the least 30 Days & Exercise at least 3 days a week for 30 mins. There can be absolutely NO slacking and No lying about it either, lol!! The consequence for not doing these actions have been stepped up a notch. Per Ericka!!! If you cheat in anyway with foods and/or do not exercise the 1st offense is we have to post our actual weight on Facebook and I would have to say on here too, that right, all you readers of ours on here will know the scary number. So instead of just telling each other the number, we have to shock the fans!!! The second consequence Per Ericka!!! is that we have to take a full body shot picture of ourselves in a bathing suit and post our weight with it on to Facebook and again on here as well......yikes now that is scary for sure, lol!!

As Ericka says "this is death to fat for REAL" LMAO!!

I know that I can do this and I know that Ericka can do this as well. We just have to be extra hard on one another, because no one else is being hard on us, other than ourselves!! See ya around!!

Week Three Down - DEE

Ok ok, I already know, I'm almost a week late in posting. So sorry, but I have been pretty busy. Anywho, this week was a good week as well. I lost 2 more lbs, which brings the grand total to 5 lbs so far. Not too bad if I say so myself. Im trying to keep myself motivated when it comes to my working out 3 days a week, whether it's the treadmill, or walking alot, or even working hard in the yard. As hot as it has been outside lately, I'm sure to sweat all the weight off, lol. Now that it's officially summer I might even try to get myself to the pool. I only wish I had a pool in my back yard like my fabulous SIL, yeah yeah I'm jealous ELL, lol!!

I must say that I'm proud of my progress and sticking to this. Usually by week three in the past I would have given up by now. But not this time. I know that I really need to do this, not just for my physical but my mental, lol. Being heavier than you ever wanted to be really makes you depressed. So that's my story for this week! Catch ya'll next week!!

Week Three Down - ELL

A day late, but not a dollar short!  This week, as predicted, I was sick, and as much as I would have LOVED to have indulged in ALL of my favorite comfort foods......I resisted.  I knew I wasn't going to be doing much in the way of working out, so I tried to still maintain my healthy eating (aside from Saturday when my husband decided it would be a good idea to go to Friendly's)  In the end I am only down 1/2 pound this week, but still on the downward slope so all is still well with the universe ;-)

Been looking into some different exercise routines.  Couch to 5K seems like the most realistic one, LOL  Nice little plan that works you into a 5K jog.  Ideally I would love to get back into shape enough to do P90X again, or maybe even *gulp*...Insanity.  For now I will stick with my treadmill, pool and good ole walks around the neighborhood.

Favorite food this week:  Scrambled egg whites!  Just like the real thing, only BETTER!
